After graduating from high school, Paul joined the U.S. Navy. He served on submarines and surface ships, retiring 27 years later with a strong engineering background, an associate’s degree, and a commitment to excellence.

In 1984, while still in the Navy, he worked on his first British car. British cars have been a part of his life ever since. He and his wife Belinda are both Life Members and Past Presidents of the San Diego MG Club.

A passionate enthusiast, Paul repairs, restores, drives, and races British cars. He is an active vintage racer with SVRA West and Cal Club/SCCA, competing 7 to 8 times a year at tracks all over California in his 1962 MGB. His experience with British Auto Repair began in 1996, as a customer of the previous owner.
